Borderlands fans across the world were more than a little excited when Borderlands 3 was finally announced after years of wishing thinking.
Though the game has yet to hit store shelves it’s already looking set to be a firm favourite video game of 2019 for a lot of people, proving there’s life in the ol’ dog yet for Borderlands.

Thankfully, Borderlands 3 won’t be the last we see of the longstanding franchise – at least not according to the series’ main writers, Danny Homan and Sam Winkler.
Speaking with DualShockers, Homan and Winkler explained just how Borderlands 3 will tie in with the rest of the series, as well as the future of the franchise.
According to Winkler, Borderlands 3 is “definitely a successor to all the games” and will “tie off some threads” but don’t expect this to be the final chapter.
