Quantum Error for PS5 & PS4 Gets WIP Footage; 99.9% of Objects Will Be Physically Simulated

Following today’s reveal of their horror game Quantum Error, the good folks at TeamKill Media released a couple of work-in-progress clips.

The two clips were released via the game’s official Twitter account. The first is a test of the minigun showcasing fire rate, bullet impact marks, recoil, screen shake, and particle effects.

The second clip shjows a test of physics collision sounds, grenades, and explosive barrels.

Interestingly, the developers also mention that 99% of objects in the game will be physically simulated.

If you’re unfamiliar with Quantum Error, it’s a “cosmic-horror first-person shooter” made in Unreal Engine for PS4 and PS5, which currently doesn’t have a release window.

It appears to be set on earth in 2019, and it’s possibly inspired by Lovecraftian literature, even if no precise information has been revealed, for now.
