Kadokawa Games announced that Metal Max Xeno Reborn will be delayed in Japan by a couple of months to September 10, 2020. The announcement comes from the Metal Max anniversary broadcast.
The delay will set back the release of Metal Max Xeno Reborn from July 9, 2020 to September 10, 2020 in Japan. This marks the second delay after its initial release date of March 26, 2020 in Japan. However, the company didn’t go too much into detail about the delay, other than the reason being due to COVID-19. The developers also shared a deep apology to all parties that looked forward to the July 9 release.

It was first teased with a trailer with the subtitle “True End of Century, Born” on the PlayStation YouTube channel.
