HBO Max Picks Up Horror Movie We’re All Going To World’s Fair

HBO Max, along with distributor and sales firm Utopia, has acquired the nationwide film distribution rights for We’re All Going to the World’s Fair. The horror drama had its world premiere at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival back in January, and news of the recent acquisition was first reported by Deadline.

We’re All Going to the World’s Fair is a 96-minute film about an isolated teenager named Casey who, from her attic bedroom, one night “finally decide[s] to take the World’s Fair Challenge, an online role-playing horror game, and embrace the uncertainty it promises.
